Meet Jesus

If you have never met the Lord Jesus Christ, we would love the privilege of introducing you to Him. He is very much alive today, and knowing Him is the most important thing you can do in this life.

The central theme of the Bible is God’s love for you and for all people. This love was revealed when Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into the world as a human being, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead. Because Christ died, your sins are forgiven, and because He conquered death, you can have eternal life.

Paul’s letter to the Romans expresses very clearly the basic truths you need to meet Jesus for yourself. Collectively, these truths are known as the Gospel, which simply means ‘good news’. Indeed, this is the best news you will ever hear!

If you’re really serious about meeting Jesus, humbly pray this prayer:

God, thank you so much for loving me enough to send Jesus, Your only Son, to die on the cross for my sins. Please forgive all my sins, Father. I don’t want to live for myself anymore. I want to live for the Lord Jesus Christ. And I want the presence of Your Holy Spirit in my life. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, here’s a promise from the Bible you can hold on to: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

Contact us (info@dallascitytemple.org) and let us know how we can serve you best, through Prayer, Bible Study, and/or Baptism.

Accept Christ

How do I accept Christ:

  • Acknowledge that you are a sinner
  • Pray and confess your sins to God
  • Ask God to forgive you of your sins
  • Ask God to come into your heart

Bible Study

Prayer is how we talk to God, the Bible is how God talks to us. If you would like to know more about God as He has revealed Himself through His Word, the Bible, we would love to study with you. We offer one-on-one studies and group studies. We also hold mid-week prayer services at 7:00 PM weekly, as well as a weekly “Church at Study” Adult Sabbath School on Saturdays at 10:00 AM.

For more information on bible study, email us at info@dallascitytemple.org and we will follow up with you!

Baptism (Children and Adults)

Who can be baptized:
Anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

1 Corinthians 12:13 speaks of us all being baptized by one Spirit to form one Body. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision, and as a community we want to celebrate with you! Here at Dallas City Temple, we believe that accepting Jesus Christ is the best thing that you can do, and we want to celebrate this event with you through the process of baptism.

For baptismal studies or more information, email us at info@dallascitytemple.org and we will follow up with you!
