Women's Ministries

Come grow with us . . . we meet together in efforts to know our Savior and one another through Bible study, social events, training, service, prayer, and fellowship.

Objectives
The Commission's primary mandate is to provide information and advice to the officials of the Church on issues related to and of particular concern to women of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Commission will work cooperatively through the Conference with established boards, committees, and organizations to offer coordinated and comprehensive advice to General Conference policymakers. Conceptually, the Commission is a catalyst for improving the potential and full utilization of the resources of the women of the Adventist Church, thereby maximizing the advancement of the Church's Mission.

Goals of Women's Ministries
1. To help the Church to utilize fully the potential, and preserve the human dignity of each member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
2. To provide all members of the SDA church equal access to opportunities in areas of education and employment, as well as participation in all church activities.
3. To work to eliminate discrimination and prejudice toward women in any form that may exist in the SDA Church, on account of their sex or ethnic origin.
4. To help create an atmosphere that encourages productivity, rewards effort and initiative, and provides a spiritual climate in which each member of the Church can realize complete spiritual growth.
