Senior Adult Ministries

Our senior program comes under the umbrella of
Family Life Ministries.
Our senior adult ministries is charged with providing ministry,
fellowship, education and outreach for the maturing adults in our
congregation and our community.
In the book "Aging Well" by George E. Vaillant, M.D., in a study of
adult development, it is reported that more of us are destined to
live well into our eighties, becoming octogenarians who offer rare
role models for growing old.
Timothy 2:1,2 discusses the characteristics of godly elder
men (healthy minded, sharp, temperate, Christ-like, free from
mental attitude sins such as bitterness, envy, and hostility).
Timothy 2:3 lists characteristics of godly older women
(emotionally stable, healthy minded, sound judgment, poise, self
control, free from carnality, morally good).
